IBASTEN ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE (IEDI) is an entrepreneurship development initiative platform that creates a sustainable relationship for entrepreneurs. We are a nonprofit private sector led organization. We promote entrepreneurship development and nations economic growth.
Our organization has empowered over 10,000 startup and existing entrepreneurs in Africa with seed fund, mentorship, acceleration and incubation, networking and capacity building.

Membership of the organization is open to startup and existing entrepreneurs. We are saddled with the responsibility of representing and expressing the opinions of entrepreneurs and benefits that is due to them.

We work with local and international donors, government agencies, organizations and good spirited individuals to enhance entrepreneurship development and boost nations economic growth.

IEDI YOUTH EMPOWERMENT: To grow a nation and secure posterity, there is need to invest and build the youth, helping them hone their skills, ideas, businesses and talents for maximum productivity.

IEDI WOMEN EMPOWERMENT: We train and equip women to leverage on opportunities and be self-reliant, not to be solely dependent on a man, but to channel their abilities towards productivity to their family and society.

IEDI INDIGENT STUDENTS EMPOWERMENT: We target school children and students in tertiary institutions from vulnerable homes. Our focus is to take them from being destitute to becoming productive, by helping them achieve self discovery and maximise their potentials.

IEDI ELEVATION PITCH: We create a platform by organising an idea/business elevation pitch for Entrepreneurs with innovative, creative and disruptive ideas and businesses, to be seen and heard by potential angel investors, venture capitalist, mentors and coaches.

IEDI PARTNERSHIP: We accept supports from skilled vocation, experienced professionals and organizations who are willing to contribute their wealth of experience and exposure for the over all growth and development of entrepreneurs.
